Albero | Forma e Ombra

Il laboratorio consiste nell’osservare gli alberi, protagonisti dei paesaggi, grandi e piccoli esseri viventi che raccontano l’identità di un luogo, la storia, la vita quotidiana legata all’agricoltura. Attraverso materiali di scarto eterogenei i bambini possono indagare la forma del tronco, dei rami, delle foglie e costruire attraverso metafore compositive il proprio albero o piccolo bosco personale. Poi la forma di ogni albero diventa ombra se toccata dalla luce del sole o da una lampadina. Ombra grande se la luce è vicina, più piccola se la luce si allontana.

The Tree | Shapes and Shadow

The workshop consisted of observing trees, those large and small living beings, key features of the landscape that tell the identity of a place, its history, and the daily life related to agriculture. Using heterogeneous waste materials, children could investigate the shape of the trunk, branches, and leaves and build their own tree or small personal forest through compositional metaphors. The shape of each tree became then a shadow when brightened by the sun or a light bulb: a big shadow when the light was near, a small one whenever the light moved away.
